Indian Army NCC Special Entry 2025: Last Date March 15 – Eligibility, Age Limit & How to Apply

The Indian Army is currently accepting applications for the NCC Special Entry Scheme 58th Course (October 2025). If you are an unmarried male or female candidate, this is a golden opportunity to join the Indian Army as a Short Service Commission (SSC) Officer.

Indian Army NCC Special Entry 2025 – Important Details

Who Can Apply? (Eligibility Criteria)

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have at least 50% aggregate marks in their graduation degree.
• NCC Certificate: Must have obtained minimum ‘B’ Grade in ‘C’ Certificate Exam of NCC.
• Marital Status: Only unmarried male and female candidates can apply.
• Wards of Battle Casualties of Army personnel can also apply under a special category.

Age Limit (As on July 1, 2025)

• Minimum Age: 19 years
• Maximum Age: 25 years
• Candidates must be born between July 2, 2000, and July 1, 2006.

For NCC Men:

• Total Vacancies: 70
• General Category: 63
• Wards of Battle Casualties: 7

For NCC Women:

• Total Vacancies: 6
• General Category: 5
• Wards of Battle Casualties: 1

Probation Period

• Selected candidates will be on a probation period of 6 months from the date of receiving their commission.
• If found unsuitable, their services may be terminated anytime during or after the probation period.
